Somers Public School District: Technology and Information Services
The vision of the Technology and Information Services Department is to expand the learning experience for students, increase instructional strategies for staff, and provide 21st century models of technology for communication and collaboration within the school department and the community.
Every 3 years each school district in CT must submit and have approved a comprehensive technology plan in order to be eligible for state and federal grants. Our 2009-2012 plan was approved by the Somers BOE on 5/11/09 and submitted to the CT State Department of Education on 5/13/09. On 6/4/09, the CT SDE approved our plan.
