Avery School Counseling web site. School counseling services are provided to all students. The counselor is a specialist who assists students with their educational, personal, and social development. The counselor conferences with students, parents, teachers and administrators. As a specialist in human behavior and relationships, the counselor provides assistance to students through four primary interventions: Counseling, Group Guidance, Consultation, and Coordination. Parents are urged to make appointments with the Mrs. Bohan when questions or concerns develop. Mrs. Bohan can be contacted during the school day through the main office at 749-2270, extension 2601. If you wish to leave a voice message, connect to extension 2604. In the event that you need to talk to the counselor immediately, please let the school secretary know.
