Hi, my name is Brian and I will be attending the 2008 Alaskan Research Challenge. I am one of nine students heading to Fairbanks, Alaska in February. I have always wanted to travel to Alaska and now I finally have a chance. I have been fascinated with global warming since watching “A Inconvenient Truth” and I have chance to study it in the arctic wilds with a world-renowned scientist. On return from Alaska I will be able to share my experiences and knowledge. When we are in Alaska it will be a International Polar Year which has only happened 3 other times. Also I can’t wait to travel to Denali National Park and see the beautiful Alaskan landscape. This will a great experience for me and I will remember it through out my whole life.
